Aboriginal Artwork

The artwork "Strong Foundation, Empowered Community" is a visual representation of the holistic collaboration of Big Yellow Umbrella (BYU) working in partnership with key community partners, agencies and local organisations to improve better outcomes for the local community.  Each element within the artwork has a significant meaning, blending to form the overall story of Big Yellow Umbrella and its connection with everybody, everywhere.

Our artist, Rhonda, is a Kamilaroi woman who is very proud of her heritage and is highly engaged with her community in Campbelltown, on Dharawal Country.

Shortly after starting her own business, RS Creative Solutions in 2017, Rhonda began her creative journey when she was engaged to design artwork for Father Chris Riley's Youth off the Streets Reconciliation Plan.

Rhonda incorporates her culture into her graphic design business and has created bespoke digital Aboriginal organisations including, the South Sydney Rabbitohs - South Cares, One Door Mental Health and Western Sydney Airport.
