We welcome individuals, community and other organisations, and service providers, as members of Big Yellow Umbrella. A strong membership base is important as it demonstrates widespread support of our organisation and the work we undertake in the community. It also provides the stimulus for new ideas and helps us to better understand the needs of the community we serve.

Why become a member?

JUNIOR MEMBERSHIP

If you are aged between 12 and 17 years of age you can join as a junior member and participate in sub-committees of the Board. Until you are 18 years of age you cannot debate or vote on Big Yellow Umbrella matters.

HOW MY MEMBERSHIP CONTRIBUTES ?

Your membership payment funds Big Yellow Umbrella programs by:

  • Purchasing additional food for the Food Relief Program
  • Deliver unfunded projects, and
  • Support ad-hoc, community needs.

MEMBERSHIP PRICING?

The cost of membership is only $5 per year of $20 for five years. Annual membership is for the period July – June each year and membership renewals are due for payment in July.

How do you become a member?
It’s easy to become a member of Big Yellow Umbrella. You just need to complete a membership application form and pay your membership fee.  Please complete the front page, print, sign and bring into our office. You can pay by EFTPOS or cash.

TIME TO RENEW?

When your membership is nearing renewal, and to continue to receive membership benefits,  you can apply to extend your membership for either 1 year or 5 years. Your membership is for the period July – June each year and all membership renewals are due for payment in July.

Choose $5 for 1 year or $20 for 5 years.

How do I renew my membership?

Call into our office with your completed membership form and pay your membership fee in person either by cash, cheque or EFTPOS. We are located at Narellan Child, Family and Community Centre, 16-24 Queen Street, Narellan.
