EMERGENCY FOOD RELIEF

Call 0475 582 995 to register for your Hamper

The Yellow Hamper project was developed to assist those in the community who have been impacted by situations outside of their control including domestic violence, Covid-19, Ill heath, long-term carers, unemployment, and disadvantaged communities.

The Team at Big Yellow Umbrella have established a partnership with OzHarvest and SecondBite to deliver food twice per week to support this cause.  This food includes fruit, vegetables and bread.

Our mission is to support the community by providing a basic hamper filled with items to cook family meals to ensure no one in Macarthur goes hungry.

To Everyone in our Community

We want to acknowledge the tough times we are all going through during this Covid-19 pandemic and the current lockdown restrictions and our mental health can easily be impacted during these unfolding events.

As you may know Big Yellow Umbrella is supporting the Community through our hamper program as well as additional services if need be.

It is really important as individuals to be cautious about our own mental health and to not feel ashamed to reach out if things are getting too much.
